8. How Can I Access My Personal Data?

If you want to know what personal data we have about you, you can ask us for details of that personal data and for a copy of it (where any such personal data is held). This is known as a “subject access request”.

9. Log Files

Like many other Web sites, www.adultgamesnews.com makes use of log files. These files merely logs visitors to the site – usually a standard procedure for hosting companies and a part of hosting service’s analytics. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

10. Cookies

For More about our Cookie Policy and usage please read our Cookie Policy

11. Advertising

We do not use any particular advertising networks such as Google Adsense.  Instead we manually put advertising banners from the various providers of games that we review, or sites that we feel may be of interest to our visitors.  We will make a small affiliate income from some of these which helps to maintain and operate the site (see Section 15).

It is possible that some of the links from the third-party advertisers targeted through the banners may use technology in their respective advertisements and links that appear on www.adultgamesnews.com and which are sent directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) may also be used by our site’s third-party ad networks to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalise the advertising content that you see on the site.

www.adultgamesnews.com has no access to, or control over, these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

12. Third Party Privacy Policies

You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information on their practices as well as for instructions about how to opt-out of certain practices. www.adultgamesnews.com’s privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other advertisers or web sites.

If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your individual browser options. More detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers’ respective websites. What Are Cookies?

13. How Do I Contact You?

To contact us about anything to do with your personal data and data protection, including to make a subject access request, please use the Contact Us Form.

14. Changes to this Privacy Notice

We may change this Privacy Notice from time to time. This may be necessary, for example, if the law changes, or if we change our business in a way that affects personal data protection.
Any changes will be made available on the Adult Games News website.

15. Affiliate Disclosure

AdultGamesNews.com is a participant in several affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to the sites or products being promoted.

Being an affiliate to these programs means that some of the advertisements on the site and some of the links in my reviews, posts or other pages within the site are affiliate links; this means that I’ll collect a small percentage of the sale as commission (from the advertisers share of the sale).

This has to be in place for AdultGamesNews.com to survive. This is because the small commissions add up and help support the running costs of the site and helps provide a small income. They are a benefit to our visitors as they offer a direct link to the product being posted about and should not spoil the experience of using our site.

These commissions will never come at a cost to yourself as the advertiser pays it out of their profit;  also the rating of a review will never be influenced by whether we receive a commission from the game sale or not. Whilst I will post about new products, or sites that I have not used, I only review products which I have used personally and as previously mentioned, not all reviews will generate an affiliate income.

We sincerely thank all our visitors for your support, and hope that you enjoy our website.

16. Consent

By using our website, you hereby consent to our privacy policy and agree to its terms.
